# Abtrace

> Abtrace is a "Proactive Monitoring and Intelligent Recall" tool for NHS primary care. It automatically finds the patients who are due or overdue a test, review or vaccination, recalls them (with self-booking), surfaces what each patient needs at a glance, and helps practices keep coding and QOF registers accurate, working inside the practice's existing clinical system (EMIS Web and TPP SystmOne).

Abtrace is built by a clinician-led team of GPs, pharmacists, data scientists and software engineers. It is a regulated medical device (UKCA marked), NHS Digital approved, and certified to ISO 27001 (information security) and ISO 13485 (medical device quality management). A practice's data stays within its own governance and is never shared with third parties.
